Job Summary

The LECOM Institute for Successful Aging has an immediate opening for a full-time Nurse Aide Training Program Instructor (NATCEP). Candidates must be a Registered Nurse / RN who will serve as an instructor in a regular classroom and clinical setting, presenting instructions in a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program. The instructor follows the student from application, through the courses, and provides support through the state examination process.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least one-year experience in long-term care facility.
  • Must have Teaching the Educator Certification or be eligible for the Teaching the Educator Certification.
  • Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Previous teaching experience is a plus.

The RN and LPN Tuition Reimbursement Program was created to assist LECOM Health employees by offsetting a portion of their educational expenses. Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses may be eligible for tuition reimbursement up to a maximum of $22,000.*
