Millcreek Community Hospital is seeking a full time Patient Accounting Manager.

SUMMARY: Manages the hospital’s patient accounting department.  Utilizes excellent time- management skills and develops and maintains a highly organized, team-focused and functionally efficient department by managing the functions and activities of all aspects of patient account management in a community hospital environment.


B.A. in related field preferred; plus 5 years professional experience of which 2 years must be supervisory. Additional years of work experience may be considered for substitution in education.

Background investigation and references required. Incumbents appointed to permanent positions in this classification shall service a probationary period of 6 months.

English Language Skills:  Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an                                               understandable manner.

Physical Demands:  Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional                                                        stability.  Must be able to lift up to and in excess of 25 pounds                                                  throughout the workday.  Sit, stand, bend, lift and move  intermittently during working hours.

Working Environment:  Works in well lighted/ventilated areas.
