Health Information Manager
Corry Memorial Hospital
Corry Memorial Hospital is currently in search of a Health Information Manager. Duties and responsibilities include:
A. Manage Medical Record/EMR completion process.
B. Run credentialing activity reports.
C. Complete PA Cancer Registry Reporting.
D. Physician floor billing and continued resident education.
E. Outpatient Insurance Appeals.
F. Participate in hospital meetings, including Quality, Documentation, and Corporate Compliance.
G. Facilitate Medical Staff Quality activities: Deficiency/Delinquency reporting, QA reports, Mortality Review.
H. Assist in Emergency Preparedness Planning.
I. Manage HIM Staff to assure accuracy and completion of all duties.
J. Establish employee coverage in place of those not reporting to work.
K. Perform departmental payroll functions.
L. Complete and issue departmental 90 day and annual evaluations.
M. Assist with other tasks as assigned by the CFO.
N. Must possess strong management and leadership characteristics.
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred but not required.
