Millcreek Community Hospital is seeking a full time 1st shift Insurance Specialist for the Patient Accounts Department.

SUMMARY:  Self-starter; excellent time manager, and highly organized team focused individual with the ability to follow direction with minimal oversight, solve problems and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers and insurance payers within tight deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED minimum

Minimum Experience: Minimum of one to three years of experience in medical or hospital billing, hospital billing preferred.

Minimum Skills:  Conceptual understanding of financial record keeping and medical billing procedures. Competent use of computer systems, software (including Microsoft Office), and 10 key calculators.
