Medical Surgical Registered Nurse- $20,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Millcreek Community Hospital, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is currently hiring MULTIPLE 7p-730a RNs and a WE36 0700a-730p RN on our Med-Surg unit.

SIGN ON BONUS $20,000 TOTAL: PAY OUT AFTER 90 DAYS, 180 DAYS AND ONE YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT.

REQUIRED: Maintains a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients/families in accordance with hospital standards. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Cooperates with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee relations, interdepartmental objectives, and infection control policies. Cleans and prepares rooms between procedures and after terminal cleaning. Monitors and restocks supplies. Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel. Demonstrates sensitivity to patient’s comfort and privacy and expresses interest in their progress. Monitors emotional stability of patients and reports changes to physician or charge nurse. Assists physicians with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care. Performs basic nursing procedures including thermal applications, non-sterile soaks, and application of simple dressings, perennial care, and urine tests. Prepares, hangs, monitors and discontinues I.V. fluids.
