Millcreek Community Hospital is seeking full time Respiratory Therapist Leader.
SUMMARY: Working with the Director of Patient Care Services, this individual is responsible for scheduling staff, participating in hiring decisions, monitoring department budgets, making sure the department’s equipment is maintained in good working order and that supplies are kept at par levels. They also provide education to RTs in the department when needed, and maintain department and hospital policies and provide respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of cardiopulmonary system, under supervision of Physicians and by prescription, by performing the duties of a Respiratory Therapist.

Education and/or Experience: Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Certification/License: Must have current PA license, must have current CPR certification
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
