Acute Detoxification

This Unit provides acute medical detoxification to chemically dependent persons as the first phase of the recovery process.  A concerted effort is made to lead the patient into the next phase of a total recovery program, i.e., outpatient, residential, or 12 step programs.

Complete nursing assessments are completed on all patients admitted to the department to include: Detox Unit Initial Intake Preliminary treatment plans, Physical assessment, and Psychosocial assessments.
