Ryan Pastewka, CRNP, MSN, PMHNP-BC, RN, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of diverse nursing and behavioral health experience spanning correctional healthcare, emergency medicine, inpatient psychiatry, and outpatient mental health services.

She currently provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management for diverse patient populations. In these roles, she works independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, risk assessments, treatment planning, medication management, diagnostic testing, and patient education, while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.

Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Ryan built a strong clinical foundation as a Registered Nurse in high-acuity environments, including emergency departments , as well as inpatient psychiatric facilities and correctional healthcare settings. These experiences developed extensive expertise in crisis intervention, emergency care, psychiatric nursing, and the management of complex behavioral health conditions.

Ryan earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialization from Walden University. She is board certified through the ANCC as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She also holds Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from Penn State University and Capella University, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Mercyhurst University.
