Position Summary

LECOM at Snyder Memorial, a skilled nursing facility in Marienville, PA and part of the LECOM Institute for Successful Living, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and coordinate environmental services operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control standards.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, team-focused, and committed to supporting quality resident care through excellent environmental services management.

This position is located at 156 Snyder Memorial Rd, Marienville PA 16239.  Interested candidates must be able to reliably commute to and work at this location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure daily cleaning assignments are completed thoroughly and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility infection control and sanitation guidelines
  • Conduct routine inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; manage ordering and cost control
  • Collaborate with nursing, maintenance, and administration to meet facility needs
  • Assist with cleaning duties as needed to maintain high standards
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior housekeeping experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience strongly preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of infection control standards in a healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends as needed

Job Overview:

The Cardiologist provides comprehensive cardiovascular care, including the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic heart conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves close collaboration with advanced practice providers, primary care physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular services. The Cardiologist participates in diagnostic testing, procedural care as privileged, quality initiatives, and call coverage as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, valvular heart disease, and cardiomyopathies.
  • Provide inpatient consultative services and outpatient cardiology clinic care.
  • Interpret diagnostic studies such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, and other cardiovascular testing per privileges.
  • Perform cardiology procedures as credentialed (e.g., transesophageal echocardiography, cardioversion, cardiac catheterization, device management).
  • Participate in post-procedural and post-discharge follow-up care.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, hospitalists, emergency medicine, and specialty services to coordinate patient care.
  • Communicate diagnostic findings, treatment options, and care plans clearly with patients and families.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care conferences, and service line meetings as applicable.

Quality, Education & Professional Development:

  • Promote evidence-based cardiovascular care and adherence to clinical guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Maintain continuing medical education (CME) consistent with cardiology practice and subspecialty focus.
  • Support education of APPs, residents, medical students, and staff as applicable.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Comply with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Ensure appropriate coding and billing documentation in collaboration with administrative teams.

Qualifications:

Education & Training:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Internal Medicine residency.
  • Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license (or eligibility).
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • BLS and ACLS certification as required by privileging entity.

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in inpatient and outpatient cardiology preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic proficiency, and procedural skills as applicable.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform cardiovascular examinations and procedures requiring fine motor skills.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and use of clinical equipment during rounds and procedures.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in clinical settings.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Floor Technician performs a wide variety of housekeeping duties focusing on proper floor cleaning in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment; and perform related work as required.

CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Vacuum rooms, common areas, halls and office with carpeting;
  • Sweeps and mops tile and linoleum floors;

Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (preferred) by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).

Corry Memorial Hospital is searching for a Surgical Technician. The Surgical Technician will be responsible for preoperative, inoperative and post-operative duties which include:

1. Prepares instrumentation, equipment and supplies for usage during the procedure.

2. Performs the surgical scrub, and donning gown, and gloves.

3. Sets ups the sterile field with proper instruments, supplies and other equipment needed for procedure.

4. Performs initial instrument, sharps and sponge counts with the circulator.

5. Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field.

Accounts Receivable Functions

  • Insurance verification
  • Keep records of resident room, level of care, and ancillary charges.Update the daily census activity on the Census tracking log
  • Gather census information from admissions and reported changes during the morning “stand up” meeting

Resident Trust Functions

  • Maintain petty cash and resident funds
  • Monitor cash flow and resident balances
  • Make bank deposits as needed
  • Dispense funds to residents as requested
  • Payout month room and board and vendor payments
  • Reconcile accounts monthly

Skills

  • Knowledge of human resource/payroll procedures and accounting procedures
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing requirements
