    Carleen Cho, M.D., FACS, RPVI, is a board-certified vascular and endovascular surgeon in Erie, Pa., specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of arterial and venous disease. She provides comprehensive vascular care, including treatment of carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), peripheral arterial disease, venous insufficiency and varicose veins, dialysis access procedures, limb salvage, and advanced wound care.

    Dr. Cho partners with wound care specialists and other providers to help patients avoid amputation through state-of-the-art open and minimally invasive vascular interventions. Her goal is to preserve limb function, improve circulation, and enhance quality of life for every patient she serves.

    She serves as Chair of the Department of Surgery and is an Associate Clinical Professor at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), where she is passionate about educating future physicians and advancing excellence in surgical care. She is also Director of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery for LECOM Institute for Successful Living.

    Dedicated to both her patients and this community, Dr. Cho believes in treating every patient like family. She values the trust placed in her by patients and their loved ones and is proud to care for generations of families throughout the Erie region. When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her own family and giving back to the community she loves.

    Dr. Cho received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Cooper University Hospital, affiliate of UMDNJ/Rutgers, for general surgery and served as a Chief Resident. She stayed at Cooper to complete her Vascular Surgery fellowship.

She is a great surgeon with nice bedside manner & very caring of her patients. She explains everything well & answers your questions. She was my doctor but I would not hesitate to recommend her to my family.
