Overview

Joshua Tuck, D.O., M.S., MBA, MCHDS, is an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon practicing at LECOM Health Orthopedics and Pain Management. He is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2004. He also obtained a Master of Science in Medical Education from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in 2011, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2021. He also recently completed a Master of Science in Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College. He is a fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He currently serves on the board of directors for the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. He has multiple publications in various journals and textbooks and is an assistant clinical professor of surgery and orthopedics at LECOM. As a former flight surgeon in the United States Navy, he served in the Middle East during Operation Iraqi Freedom, completing his military service as a Lieutenant Commander. He was a member of the NASA Shuttle Operations Medical Support Team and served as a flight surgeon for the landing of shuttle Endeavor mission, STS-118, in 2007. While completing a Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine, he served on the medical staff of the Boston Red Sox organization. Dr. Tuck is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, fishing, and hunting. He is also a history buff and spends countless hours reading historic nonfiction. He most enjoys spending time with his wife, Fran, and their son, Joey.
