LECOM Institute for Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine

Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine

The opening of the LECOM Institute for Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at Millcreek Community Hospital brings the community state-of-the-art treatment and protocols to treat chronic wounds including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure therapies, bio-engineered tissues and bio-synthetics.

In the United States, chronic wounds affect millions of patients. We treat these wounds and work to prevent re-occurrence by correcting contributing factors such as controlling infection and enhancing medical and nutritional status.

An Interdisciplinary Approach

The Wound Care Center is staffed with a unique team of specialists all dedicated to healing chronic wounds. The combined knowledge of our team members creates an interdisciplinary approach to wound management. We are dedicated to healing wounds that have not responded to traditional treatment.

James Lin, D.O., is the medical director.
