Neurology
Neurology encompasses the study of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Neurological services offer assessments for persons with symptoms including, but not limited to, headache, memory loss, speech difficulty, weakness, numbness, difficulty walking, falls, dizziness, tremor, and seizures. A neurologic examination will assess mental status, speech, nerve function, muscle strength, reflexes, sensation, coordination, and walking. Electrodiagnostic medicine services are also available for people requiring nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG).
