The goal of the LECOM Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) located inside Millcreek Community Hospital is to facilitate a return to home after an acute debilitating illness or injury as well as a planned joint replacement or revision. LECOM Health’s skilled nursing facilities provide patients with the comfort and care they deserve with round-the-clock trained staff and access to extensive medical services and personnel. Staff specialties include neurology, orthopedic care, wound care, dysphasia and more. Ventilator and respiratory services include airway management, oxygen administration, tracheotomy care, weaning and pulmonary hygiene. Our skilled nursing facilities are LECOM Senior Living Center, LECOM at Village Square, and LECOM Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
