Central Supply Assistant
LECOM Nursing and Rehabilitation
The Central Supply Assistant will use their planning and organization skills to procure necessary materials and supplies for the skilled nursing facility, LECOM Nursing and Rehabilitation, located at 4114 Schaper Ave.
Under the supervision of the Central Supply Manager and the building Administrator, the Central Supply Assistant will work with vendors, research new products, and maintain supply rooms.
Duties:
– Coordinate and manage the supply chain activities of the organization
– Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness
– Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock
– Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods
– Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement in the supply chain process
– Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipments
– Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of supply chain activities
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management
Experience:
– High School Diploma or GED equivalent
– Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role
– Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
– Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
