Are you a detail-oriented, compassionate individual with a knack for organization? We’re seeking a PRN Vaccine Intake and Registration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As pare of the LECOM Institute for Successful Living, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a smooth and efficient vaccine administration process, providing exceptional service to our patients, and maintaining accurate records.

Scheduling:

• This is a PRN or Per Diem, seasonal (Aug-Nov) position

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Intake: Greet patients warmly and assist them with the intake process, including verifying personal information and medical history.
• Registration: Accurately enter patient information into the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring all data is complete and up-to-date.
• Vaccine Administration Coordination: Confirm vaccine appointments, provide information on vaccination procedures, and ensure proper documentation of vaccine administration.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all regulatory and procedural requirements are met, including consent forms and vaccination records.
• Customer Service: Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, providing clear and accurate information about the vaccination process.
• Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers and other team members to facilitate a seamless vaccination experience for patients.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare or administrative role is highly desirable. Experience with vaccine administration or medical records management is a plus.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications: CPR certification preferred, but not required.
• Availability: Must be flexible and available to work on an as-needed basis, including weekends and evenings.
