We are currently seeking an experienced casual dining cook to join our culinary team and help create memorable dining experiences for our residents.

Job Overview:

As a Casual Dining Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious, nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. You will collaborate with our culinary team to develop menus, ensure food quality, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Schedule:

Scheduling options include Full Time (40hrs/wk), Part Time (16-28 hrs/wk) and PRN (variable, as needed).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Collaborate with the dining services team to create seasonal menus and special event meals.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and storage areas.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and health department standards.
• Engage with residents to understand their preferences and provide exceptional service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a casual dining or institutional cooking environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
