Basic Job Summary:

  1. Provide patient care to clinic patients, under supervision of the Clinical Leader.
  2. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: A. Consult with and keep supervisor informed of clinic activities, needs and problems related to patient care.
  3. Comply with established patient care standards. Maintain established clinic policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. Follow established routines and utilize supplies and equipment in a cost-effective manner.
  4. Maintain a clean, orderly, safe environment for patients and personnel.
  5. Cooperate with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee, interdepartmental and public relations.
  6. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information and abide by established communications code.
  7. Greet patients and escort to exam room.
  8. Take and record vitals and patient medical information in chart.
  9. Prepare patient and room for examination.
  10. Assist Mid-level Practitioner and/or Physician in procedures as necessary (administrators injections as ordered).
  11. Complete ordered laboratory procedures.
  12. Communicate results to Mid-level Practitioner or Physician.
  13. Discharge patient to receptionist / biller with Physician/Mid-level Practitioner orders and prescriptions.
  14. Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment as appropriate.
  15. Restock supplies, linens, equipment and check for defects and out-dating.
  16. Attend required meetings, in-services, and educational programs.
  17. Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations.
  18. Other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager and/or Medical Director.

  • Cleans assigned areas by washing furniture, tile, fixtures and equipment with germicidal cleaning solutions.
  • Cleans assigned areas by washing walls, doors, door frames, ceilings, vents, patient televisions and windows; strips and applies floor finish and polishes floors.
  • Mops and buffs floor areas, vacuums carpets, spot cleans floors and carpets, using appropriate solutions and arranges furniture and equipment back in an orderly fashion after cleaning assigned area.
  • Requests cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Cleans Equipment and notifies supervisor of equipment needing repair. Reports safety hazards to supervisor.

Job Summary:

Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates food service for patients and personnel. Coordinates dietary education for patients (in-patients and out-patients), hospital employees, and community groups.

  • Provides the referring physician and CMH with information relevant to the patients’ assessment and necessary prescriptive program.
