Job summary:

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting by contributing to all steps of the nursing process (assessment; planning; implementation and evaluation). The LPN shall communicate with the RN and seek guidance when the patient’s care needs exceed the LPN’s scope of practice or surpass the LPN’s knowledge, skill or ability. The LPN will also communicate to the RN and/or ED Physician if the patient’s condition deteriorates or there is a significant change in condition. Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (preferred) by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). 

Alternatively, Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM), OR Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) 

Valid state medical license and DEA registration. 

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Corry Memorial Hospital is searching for a Surgical Technician. The Surgical Technician will be responsible for preoperative, inoperative and post-operative duties which include:

1. Prepares instrumentation, equipment and supplies for usage during the procedure.

2. Performs the surgical scrub, and donning gown, and gloves.

3. Sets ups the sterile field with proper instruments, supplies and other equipment needed for procedure.

4. Performs initial instrument, sharps and sponge counts with the circulator.

5. Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field.

6. Passes instruments and supplies to the surgeon during the procedure.

7. Maintains highest standard of sterile technique before/during/after procedure.

8. Cleaning of OR rooms.

9. Schedules Patients and Prepares Patient Charts.

Job Summary:

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting and/or emergency setting. Communicates with physicians/nurse manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on the age of the patient and their clinical condition.

Corry Memorial Hospital is currently seeking per diem Radiologic Technologist.  Flexible hours are available for day and night shift, weekdays and weekends.  This employee prepares patients for procedures, performs diagnostic imaging testing, and other procedures necessary within direct supervision from the department manager. Provides explanation to patient and family prior to administering tests to patient; answers questions within scope of practice. Produces high quality images. Performs accurate assessment of patients to ensure proper machine settings and exposure factors. Always maintains a sound knowledge of current expected positioning factors. Current ARRT certification and CPR required.
