Job Overview: 

The Endocrinologist evaluates and manages disorders of the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and lipid disorders. The role emphasizes evidence-based, patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and education. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Patient Care: 

• Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders in outpatient and inpatient settings. 
• Develop individualized diabetes management plans, including technology (CGM/insulin pumps) where applicable. 
• Interpret endocrine laboratory and imaging results; perform thyroid ultrasound and FNA if privileged. 
• Coordinate transitions of care and provide longitudinal follow-up. 

Collaboration & Education: 

• Work closely with primary care, surgery, oncology, obstetrics, and other teams. 
• Educate patients on disease processes, lifestyle modifications, and medication use. 

Quality & Safety: 

• Participate in quality initiatives (e.g., glycemic control, hypoglycemia prevention). 
• Ensure safe prescribing and monitoring of endocrine therapies. 

Documentation & Compliance:

Qualifications: 

Education & Training: 

• MD or DO from an accredited institution. 
• Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Internal Medicine residency. 
• Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. 
• Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology. 

Licensure & Certifications: 

• Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license (or eligibility). 
• DEA registration as applicable. 

Experience & Skills: 

• Experience managing complex endocrine disorders and diabetes technologies. 
• Strong communication, education, and care coordination skills. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods in clinic and hospital settings. 
• Occasional lifting/moving of equipment up to 20–25 lbs.

Job Overview: 

The Infectious Disease (ID) Physician evaluates and treats a broad spectrum of infectious diseases in inpatient and outpatient settings, supports antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention, and provides expert consultation to multidisciplinary teams. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Patient Care: 

• Diagnose and manage bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections, including HIV, TB, hepatitis, and emerging pathogens. 
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and tailor evidence-based treatment plans. 
• Provide longitudinal care for chronic infections and immunocompromised hosts. 

Stewardship & Infection Prevention: 

• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and formulary optimization.

• Consult with hospitalists, intensivists, surgery, and other specialties on complex cases.

The Neurologist diagnoses and manages disorders of the central and peripheral nervous systems, providing inpatient consults and outpatient care. The role includes electrodiagnostic testing as privileged and close collaboration with neurosurgery, critical care, and rehabilitation services. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Patient Care: 

• Evaluate and manage stroke, seizure disorders, movement disorders, neuromuscular disease, dementia, headache, multiple sclerosis, and other neurologic conditions. 
• Perform and interpret EMG/NCS and EEG if privileged. 
• Participate in acute stroke response and post-stroke care pathways as applicable. 

Collaboration & Communication: 

• Coordinate care with primary care, neurosurgery, rehabilitation, radiology, and behavioral health. 
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and tumor boards as applicable.

The Urologist diagnoses, treats, and manages conditions of the urinary tract and male reproductive system in inpatient and outpatient settings. This role delivers high-quality, patient-centered care; performs office-based and operative procedures; and collaborates across disciplines to optimize outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Patient Care: 

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for urologic conditions. 
• Diagnose and manage kidney stones, prostate conditions, urinary incontinence, bladder disorders, erectile dysfunction, and urologic malignancies. 
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for urologic procedures. 
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide longitudinal management for chronic conditions. 
• Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic therapies consistent with current guidelines. 

Medical Procedures & Surgeries: 

• Perform cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, stone management (e.g., ureteroscopy, lithotripsy), and laparoscopic/robotic procedures as privileged. 
• Offer surgical and non-surgical options, discussing risks, benefits, and alternatives with patients. 
• Participate in on-call coverage per department policy. 

Collaboration & Communication: 

• Coordinate care with oncology, nephrology, radiology, primary care, and other specialties.
