Job Summary:
To perform services necessary to complete efficient and accurate insurance processing for all patients in compliance with LECOM Health Corry Memorial Hospital policies and procedures.

- Answer telephones and provide patient support regarding questions about patient balances.
- Understand and complete the step-by-step transaction processes in the billing system.
- Responsible for processing and following up on unpaid/denied claims until paid or written off appropriately.
- Responsible for a portion of the A/R which requires phone contact with insurance companies and investigation of review letters.
- Responsible for maintaining a follow up file on unpaid claims and following through until the accounts reach zero. Review files consistently for payment or non-payment.
- Responsible for investigating and evaluating recurring denial issues and reporting them to manager.
- May be responsible for coverage and support of managing collections of overdue personal balances.
- Responsible for handling appeals on claims.
- Compile information for manager to review for final evaluations prior to write off.
- Responsible for reviewing patient statements if patient has questions.
- Responsible for reviewing procedures and/or office visits to verify accuracy.
- Accurately processes the charges in the computer system and balances at the end of the day.
- Prepares and sends electronic and paper claims to insurance companies.
- Assists in posting payments
- Substitutes Receptionist position as necessary.
- Upload to Medical Record System as necessary.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by manager..

JOB SUMMARY:
The Therapy Manager provides oversight to departmental guidelines and employee management/moral at the direction of the Director of Therapy and other senior administrative personal. The Therapy Manager organizes, develops, directs and supervises all aspects of rehabilitative therapies for LECOM Health entities, in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that the highest degree of quality care is rendered and LECOM Health’s standard of excellence is achieved.
This is an on-site Manger position at LECOM at Snyder Memorial, located at 156 Snyder Memorial Rd, Marienville PA. Interested applicants will need to consistently and reliably report to this location.
CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work at the direction of the Director of Therapy and other senior administrative personal;
- Act as administrative lead in the absence of the Director on an as needed basis;
- Align all work and resource management with LECOM Health’s mission, vision, philosophies and values, goals and strategic plans;
- Responsible for staffing and scheduling so to provide adequate coverage for patient treatments;
- Direct and/or conduct recruitment, hiring and training of personnel on an as needed basis;
- Responsible for conducting and administering fiscal operations, planning budgets, authoring expenditures, and coordinating financial reporting for all areas under the Therapy Manager control in accordance with his/her direct supervisor;

- Support cultural diversity by ensuring that the delivery of quality and culturally competent patient-centered care is provided; promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity;
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions;
- Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription;
- Helps patient accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities and in using assistive and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses;
- Administers therapy treatments by giving massages; initiating traction; applying physical agents; utilizing hydrotherapy tanks and whirlpool baths, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines; directing treatments given by aides, technicians, and assistants;
- Evaluates effects of therapy treatments and fit of prosthetic and orthotic devices by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending adjustments and modifications;
- Completes discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences;
- Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs; recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending outpatient or home health follow-up programs;
- Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records;
- Maintains patient confidence and protects hospital operations by keeping information confidential;
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations;
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols;
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs;
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies;
- Develops therapy staff by providing information; developing and conducting in-service training programs; and
- Accept other duties as needed/assigned for the Institution’s needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:
Required: Undergraduate or Associate degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy or therapy related field with five to ten (5-10) years’ of clinical experience required. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, CDC guidelines, hazardous waste management and disposal and radiation safety. OSHA 10 certification. CPR, first responder with current licensure and certification in specified discipline required.
*Experienced Physical Therapist Assistants may also be considered.
Preferred: Graduate level degree. Certificate in Infection Control (CIC) and/or Certified Safety Personnel (CSP or ASP). OSHA 30 Certification. Basic life-support instructor certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certified.

Position Summary
The LECOM Institute for Successful Living is seeking a motivated and career-driven Administrator-in-Training (AIT) to join our team in Erie, PA. This full-time position is designed to prepare qualified candidates for licensure and advancement into a Nursing Home Administrator role within one or more of our skilled nursing facilities.
The AIT program provides hands-on experience and structured training in all aspects of long-term care operations, leadership, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a comprehensive training program under the guidance of a licensed Nursing Home Administrator/Preceptor
- Gain practical experience in all departments including nursing, dietary, housekeeping, social services, admissions, billing, and human resources
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Support quality improvement initiatives and performance management efforts
- Develop leadership, communication, and decision-making skills in a healthcare environment

Qualifications
The applicant must satisfy one of the following educational pathways for licensure:
- Master’s degree in enumerated fields from an accredited college/university.
- Applicants must complete 3 hours of Board-approved education in child abuse recognition and reporting for initial licensure.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and completion of the Board approved 120-hour program (if nor part of the bachelor's degree program).
- 2 academic years of college-level study (30 credits per year) at an accredited college/university and completion of the Board approved 120-hour program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and completion of the Board-approved 120-hour program.
- A high school diploma and completion of the Board approved 120-hour program.
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred) in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field
- Must meet Pennsylvania state requirements for Administrator-in-Training program eligibility
- Strong interest in pursuing licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator

Position Summary
LECOM at Snyder Memorial, a skilled nursing facility in Marienville, PA and part of the LECOM Institute for Successful Living, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and coordinate environmental services operations. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure daily cleaning assignments are completed thoroughly and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility infection control and sanitation guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; manage ordering and cost control
- Collaborate with nursing, maintenance, and administration to meet facility needs
- Assist with cleaning duties as needed to maintain high standards
- Ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior housekeeping experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience strongly preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of infection control standards in a healthcare setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends as needed

Job Overview:
The Cardiologist provides comprehensive cardiovascular care, including the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic heart conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves close collaboration with advanced practice providers, primary care physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular services. The Cardiologist participates in diagnostic testing, procedural care as privileged, quality initiatives, and call coverage as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, valvular heart disease, and cardiomyopathies.
- Provide inpatient consultative services and outpatient cardiology clinic care.
- Interpret diagnostic studies such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, and other cardiovascular testing per privileges.
- Perform cardiology procedures as credentialed (e.g., transesophageal echocardiography, cardioversion, cardiac catheterization, device management).
- Participate in post-procedural and post-discharge follow-up care.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, hospitalists, emergency medicine, and specialty services to coordinate patient care.
- Communicate diagnostic findings, treatment options, and care plans clearly with patients and families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care conferences, and service line meetings as applicable.
Quality, Education & Professional Development:
- Promote evidence-based cardiovascular care and adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and patient safety initiatives.
- Maintain continuing medical education (CME) consistent with cardiology practice and subspecialty focus.
- Support education of APPs, residents, medical students, and staff as applicable.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic health record.
- Comply with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Ensure appropriate coding and billing documentation in collaboration with administrative teams.
Qualifications:
Education & Training:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Internal Medicine residency.
- Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license (or eligibility).
- Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
- BLS and ACLS certification as required by privileging entity.
Experience & Skills:
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient cardiology preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic proficiency, and procedural skills as applicable.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform cardiovascular examinations and procedures requiring fine motor skills.

Under general supervision, the Floor Technician performs a wide variety of housekeeping duties focusing on proper floor cleaning in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment; and perform related work as required.
CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Vacuum rooms, common areas, halls and office with carpeting;
- Sweeps and mops tile and linoleum floors;
- Strips and waxes floors according to schedule, where applicable;
