Beautician (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, talented, and customer-focused Beautician to join our senior living community. This position provides professional salon services to our residents in a friendly and welcoming environment, helping them look and feel their best while enhancing their quality of life.

Both full-time and part-time schedules may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform haircuts and styling services for residents
• Provide hair coloring, highlighting, and touch-up services
• Perform permanent waves (perms) and other chemical treatments
• Shampoo, condition, and blow-dry hair
• Trim and groom beards and mustaches
• Provide roller sets and special occasion styling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary salon environment
• Ensure compliance with all state cosmetology regulations and infection control standards
• Build positive relationships with residents and provide exceptional customer service
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate service records
• Recommend products and services that meet residents’ needs

Qualifications

• Current and valid Pennsylvania Cosmetology License required
• Previous experience as a beautician, hairstylist, or cosmetologist preferred
• Experience working with seniors is a plus, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently and manage appointments effectively
• Knowledge of current salon techniques, products, and safety practices
