EVS 2nd Shift Team Leader – FT 37.5 hours 2 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. M-F.
SUMMARY: Supervises and coordinates the activities of and works with groups of housekeeping personnel engaged in housekeeping activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
2. Demonstrates use of cleaning materials and equipment and explains methods of cleaning to ensure the most efficient and economical use of materials and manpower.
3. Leads and works with cleaning crew in assigned areas.
4. Inspects equipment used in performance of duties for proper functioning; makes minor repairs or adjustments.
5. Inspects supplies and requisitions them from stock.
6. Maintains required records, reports, and statistics as directed.
7. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
8. Attends meetings as required.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Experience: Sufficient previous experience as a housekeeper
Preferred Education: High School or equivalent
