Job Summary:
Prepare and cook food for all patients and café customers per menu provided. Consults with Head Cooks/Dietary Manager concerning recipes, amounts of food and portion size. Oversees and assists with daily food production and flow of the Dietary Department in absence of Head Cooks or Dietary Director (weekends/holidays). Supervises Dietary Aides and Café cooks when Head Cooks/Dietary Manager is not available (Evenings/weekends). Assists with maintaining the Dietary Budget by assuring proper management of food and supplies. Carries out special function events related to food services. Assists with patient satisfaction of Food Services by assuring special diets and requests are adhered to. Performs duties of the Head Cooks in their absence.

Cleans and services building areas according to established procedures. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies throughout facility. Performs a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the facility in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition.
Characteristic job tasks and responsibilities:
- Selects cleaning materials and supplies and prepares solutions according to procedure. Loads service cart and transports to work area.
- Cleans assigned areas by washing furniture, tile, fixtures and equipment with germicidal cleaning solutions.
- Cleans assigned areas by washing walls, doors, door frames, ceilings, vents, patient televisions and windows; strips and applies floor finish and polishes floors.

- Arranges furniture for meetings, workshops and facility affairs, as requested.

Although NO CERTIFICATION nor previous experience is required to apply for this position, individuals who currently hold a valid Med Tech or CNA license are eligible for an increased starting salary.
Medical Assistants who desire a direct patient care position are also well qualified for this position.

Summary:

A licensed professional Physician who is responsible for the patient care at the medical clinic.
Qualifications:
Education/Registrations:
1. Medical School Graduate, MD, DO
2. Currently licensed in Pennsylvania.
3. Must have current Federal DEA and State DEA as appropriate to Pennsylvania regulations.
4. Must be in good standing with the Pennsylvania Board of Medical Licensure.
5. ACLS is not required.
Experience:
Preferably (5) five years in private or group practice: Pediatrics, family practice, general practice or internal medicine.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Follows Quality Assurance Program in accordance with the clinic.
B. Assists Mid-level Practitioner to assure clinical competence.
C. Provides clinical evaluation of clinical personnel employed by the clinic.
D. Annually reviews clinic written policies and makes recommendations for revision.
E. Provides medical direction for the clinic medical care activities.
F. In conjunction with the Mid-level Practitioner, reviews Nursing Protocols and revises as necessary.
G. Provides direct medical care and consultation to the patients of the clinic.
H. Must be at the clinic as scheduled according to contractual agreement.
I. Must make certain that the Mid-level Practitioner(s) have Physician back-up available when Physician is not present at clinic.
J. Reviews annual program evaluation and chart audits.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging studies, ECG).
Identify urgent medical needs and prioritize treatments accordingly.
Emergency Care and Treatment:
Provide immediate care for life-threatening injuries or conditions (e.g., trauma, heart attacks, strokes).
Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and other treatments as necessary.
Perform life-saving procedures, including intubation, defibrillation, and wound care.
Manage patient stabilization and prepare patients for transfer to appropriate care units or specialists.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with emergency department nurses, paramedics, specialists, and support staff.
Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses and treatment plans.
Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and effective follow-up.
Consult with specialists or transfer patients when necessary for specialized care.
Respond to rapid response emergencies on the acute care unit and throughout the hospital as needed.
Promotes and maintains good public relations on behalf of the hospital and assists the hospital in attaining goals established regarding patient/employee/physician satisfaction in connection with the delivery of clinical services. Emergency Physicians will be “goodwill ambassadors” of the hospital.
Emergency Procedures and Interventions:
Perform emergency procedures, such as chest tube placement, intubation, central line insertion, and fracture reduction. Assist in resuscitations (e.g., CPR, trauma management). Ensure patient safety and comfort during emergency interventions. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including patient histories, clinical findings, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in documentation and confidentiality.
Education and Training:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff, residents, and medical students. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with medical advancements and ER best practices. Lead or participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Quality Improvement and Patient Safety: Adhere to hospital protocols and emergency department standards to ensure high-quality care and patient safety. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. Participate in patient safety initiatives, audits, and performance evaluations. Monitor and reduce risks related to patient care, reporting incidents as necessary. Cooperates with the hospital in implementing new procedures, controls, and systems to promote and facilitate quality, cost controls, reimbursement functions, standardization of products and equipment, and any other requests made by the hospital. Reports to the hospital, on an as-needed basis, material concerns about the quality of care, delay in delivery of medical services to patients, or any patient concerns.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
Licensure and Certifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (preferred) by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).
