Role Summary

The Director of Communications and Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic communications, marketing, branding, public relations, and community engagement initiatives that promote the health system’s mission, services, providers, and reputation. This position leads internal and external communications, oversees marketing campaigns, manages media relations, supports organizational growth initiatives, and ensures consistent messaging across all facilities and service lines.

The Director collaborates closely with executive leadership, physicians, department leaders, and community partners to enhance patient engagement, employee communication, physician recruitment, and market presence while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Brand Management

• Develop and execute a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals.

• Lead branding initiatives to maintain a consistent image across hospitals, physician practices, and affiliated organizations.

• Develop annual marketing plans, budgets, and measurable performance indicators.

• Provide strategic communication support to executive leadership.

Campaign Strategy & Content Execution

• Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns for clinical services, provider recruitment, employee recruitment, community programs, and organizational initiatives.

• Coordinate print, digital, radio, television, and outdoor advertising.

• Own and manage social media advertising and content strategy.

• Oversee graphic design, promotional materials, photography, and video production.

• Monitor marketing effectiveness using key performance indicators and analytics.

Communications & Public Relations

• Direct internal communication efforts including employee newsletters, intranet content, leadership messages, announcements, and organizational updates.

• Develop external communications for patients, community members, media, and stakeholders.

• Write and edit press releases, speeches, presentations, newsletters, website content, and promotional materials.

• Ensure messaging is accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational values.

Media Relations & Crisis Communications

• Serve as the organization’s primary media contact.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with local and regional media.

• Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and public announcements.

• Develop crisis communication plans and assist leadership during emergencies.

Digital Marketing & Online Reputation

• Oversee website content, search engine optimization (SEO), and digital marketing initiatives.

• Manage organizational social media platforms and online reputation.

• Monitor digital engagement metrics and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field required.

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in healthcare marketing, communications, or public relations.

The Maintenance Manager performs a variety of semi-skilled maintenance work while supervising housekeeping staff. JOB DUTIES:

• Collaborates with site personnel, other trades, subcontractors (e.g., scheduling work orders and work activities, identifying project specifications, estimating costs, establishing required delivery dates of equipment and supplies) for the purpose of providing written support, conveying information, and coordinating work assignment activities;
• Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently;
• Guides other maintenance workers in performing skilled crafts for the purpose of providing support to workers developing their knowledge of specific skills with trade; Inspects facilities, systems and their components for the purpose of ensuring safety (e.g. OSHA) and cleanliness, and identifying necessary repairs;
• Installs a variety of items and/or system components frequently of a complex nature (e.g., cabinetry, doors and hardware, windows, playground equipment, classroom and office equipment and facility components, TV cables, audiovisual equipment, intercommunicating telephones) for the purpose of maintaining the Institution in a safe, comfortable and operating condition;
• Maintains tools and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition;

• Responds to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving safety concerns and taking appropriate actions to maintain the overall educational environment;
• Tests and/or troubleshoots a variety of items dependent on specific trade expertise (e.g., thermocouples, motors, boiler controls, motor valves, fire alarms, plumbing valves, fixtures, water lines, alarms, locks, new and renovated construction) for the purpose of assessing item functioning and recommending repair or replacement;
• Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness;
• Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action;
• Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments;
• Coordinates work activities among departments;
• Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment;
• Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies;
• Evaluates records to forecast department personnel requirements;
• Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation;
• Prepares reports concerning room occupancy, payroll (Kronos), and department expenses;
• Selects and purchases new furnishings;
• Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage;
• Examines building to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management;
• Attends staff meetings to discuss Institutional policies and patrons' complaints;
• Issues supplies and equipment to workers;
• Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff;
• Advises manager, desk clerk, or admitting personnel of rooms ready for occupancy;
• Records data regarding work assignments, personnel actions, and time cards, and prepares periodic reports;
• Screens job applicants, hires new employees, and recommends promotions, transfers, and dismissals; and
• Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Job summary:

The Emergency Department (ED) Physician is a highly skilled medical professional responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the emergency department. This position involves working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, providing emergent care to individuals with acute illnesses or injuries. ER Physicians collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and specialists, to ensure the best possible care for patients. 

Characteristic job tasks and responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: 

Perform thorough evaluations of patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions and emergencies. 

Collect comprehensive medical histories and conduct physical exams. 

Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging studies, ECG). 

Identify urgent medical needs and prioritize treatments accordingly. 

Emergency Care and Treatment: 

Provide immediate care for life-threatening injuries or conditions (e.g., trauma, heart attacks, strokes). 

Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and other treatments as necessary. 

Perform life-saving procedures, including intubation, defibrillation, and wound care.

Licensure and Certifications: 

Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (preferred) by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). 

Alternatively, Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM), OR Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) 

Valid state medical license and DEA registration. 

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. 

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (or equivalent).
