Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner (APP)
LECOM Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to join our growing Vascular Surgery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Position Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will support the Vascular Surgery team in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients with vascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations, including histories and physicals
- Assist in developing and managing treatment plans
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
- Assist in surgical procedures (PA) and/or clinical management of vascular patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care needs
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Pennsylvania licensure (or eligibility)
- National certification required (PA-C or CRNP)
- Experience in vascular surgery, surgical services, or acute care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

- Proficiency in office-based and operative urologic care.
- Strong diagnostic reasoning and procedural skills.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing during procedures.
- Manual dexterity for fine motor tasks and instrument handling.
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs. and assist with patient positioning.
- Use of PPE as required.
