ERIE, PA (November 22, 2022) — Medical Associates of Erie, an affiliate of LECOM Health, today held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand reopening of Waterford Family Practice at 220 E. 3rd St. in Waterford.
Completed a month earlier than estimated, the 5,188-square-foot building replaces the facility formerly located in the adjacent lot.
“With the completion of this state-of-the-art facility, we are pleased to offer proper access to quality health care for the Waterford community and surrounding areas,” said Jasen Diley, vice president of affiliated services for LECOM Health and president of Medical Associates of Erie.
Micalyn Baney, D.O., Kristen Heard, D.P.M., and Jennifer C. Stull, D.O., will continue to provide care at the new location.
“We look forward to further expanding innovative services to our community,” said Diley.
“My staff and I are grateful to our patients for being patient as we all adjust to operating out of such a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility,” said Dr. Baney. “Our patients and the care we provide remain our top priority. We appreciate the support we’ve received from the community.”
Silvia M. Ferretti, D.O., provost, senior vice president and dean of academic affairs at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, was present to help cut the ribbon at the ceremony, Monsignor David Rubino, LECOM’s vice president of external affairs emceed the event, and Rev. Robin Sharp of First Presbyterian Church of Waterford provided the blessing over the facility.
