LECOM Institute for Behavioral Health (LIBH) provides compassionate outpatient psychiatric assessment and medication management services to individuals across the lifespan. We employ a group of skilled professionals who pride themselves on delivering high-quality treatment and facilitating positive patient experiences. Knowledgeable support staff are available to assist you with questions regarding scheduling, medication refills and to liaison with the psychiatrists.

Collaboration and Coordination of Care

With your consent, we collaborate with other providers/agencies and coordinate care across multiple settings and levels of care to help you achieve your wellness goals. We understand how mental health affects physical health and we collaborate with primary care providers to ensure the needs of the whole person are addressed.

After Hours Services
If you need emergency mental health services after regular office hours, contact Crisis Services at (814) 456-2014 and/or to go to the local emergency room for assessment. Life-saving assistance in emergency situations can be obtained from the Fire Department, Police Department, or Emergency Medical Services by dialing 911.
For needs that are less urgent, call your provider’s office during regular office hours for assistance.

Insurance and Billing

We participate with most major insurance carriers and managed healthcare plans. We also accept cash-paying patients. Please call to discuss your particular situation if you change insurance carriers or have questions about participation. If your plan requires a referral, obtain the referral prior to your first appointment. Any required payments or co-payments are due at the time of your visit. We accept cash, personal checks, and most major credit cards. If you are not prepared at the time of your visit, you will be billed for your co-payment. Should you have billing questions, you can speak to our Billing Specialist by calling our main line at 814-454-3174 and selecting extension 1350.
