JOB SUMMARY:

LECOM Institute for Successful Aging, is accepting resumes for a FULL TIME Speech and Language Pathologist to dually assist SLP patient needs in our Skilled Nursing Facilities along with with an increased demand for our in-home therapy services in coordination with the Visiting Nurse Association of Erie County.
This position will primarily be in the Skilled Nursing Facilities, day shift Mondays- Fridays with some weekend requirements, with care to patients in their homes in accordance with the physician’s orders on an as needed basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience equivalent to:

  • Must be licensed in Pennsylvania
  • Must have at least one year of institutional experience
  • The education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in the appropriate area granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association or
  • The educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification.
  • A Master’s degree in speech-language pathology preferred.
  • A member of the American-Speech Language and Hearing Association preferred.
  • Must have current CPR certification.
